“PowerShot V10” Vlog Camera and “OCT-R1” Ophthalmic Device Win International Design Award “Red Dot Design Award”
02 May 2024 — Canon Inc. announced on 26 April 2024 that the company’s “PowerShot V10” vlog camera and “OCT-R1,” an optical coherence tomography (OCT) device, won the Red Dot Design Award 2024 for Production Design at an awards show hosted by Red Dot Award AG (based in Switzerland). The awards ceremony will be held on 24 June 2024 in Essen, Germany.

Canon Converts 100% of Power to Renewable Energy at Five Manufacturing Sites for Printing Business
05 Mar 2024 — Canon Inc. announced today that all of the power used in FY2023 was converted to renewable energy at five locations among four manufacturing companies—Canon Suzhou Inc., Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Thang Long Factory and Tien Son Factory), Canon Hi-Tech Thailand Ltd. (Ayutthaya Factory), and Canon Prachinburi Thailand Ltd.—which produce the mainstay products of its printing business such as office multifunctional devices, home inkjet printers, and large-format inkjet printers.
